You will not find a more aggressive, customer-focused Economic Development Division anywhere. What's more, we look forward to proving it to you. We would like to welcome you into our community and hope you agree that when it comes to a location in southern California and the high desert, Hesperia abounds with amenities and affords your business tremendous opportunities.

Robust Development

Hesperia is currently witnessing explosive growth, attracting both large enterprises and small businesses to establish their roots in our vibrant city. This remarkable growth is a testament to the thriving economic environment that fosters success for local businesses and offers new, lucrative employment opportunities for our residents. Notably, this impressive expansion is particularly prominent on the city's west side.

At the hub of thriving economic activity is the Hesperia Commerce Center. Situated on the west side of the 1-15 freeway along Caliente Road, this expansive complex covers an impressive 3.5 million square feet. Building 1 is complete with Modway Furniture Wholesaler as occupants. Building 2 and 3 is complete with Maersk, a global logistics and supply chain company, as occupants.

Amazon's first West Coast Middle-Mile facility has broken ground. Spanning across approximately 160 acres off Phelan Road, near Caliente Road, the 2.5 million-square-foot facility has generated roughly 1,000 construction-related positions, and is expected to create approximately 1,000 permanenet jobs once the facility is operational, currently anticipated in late 2026. 500 docking stations are included in the build, supporting the Inland Empire and greater Southern California area.

A variety of new restaurants are opening in the winter of this year, expanding dining options for all Hesperia residents:

Dutch Bros Coffee's first site recently opened along Main Street in the downtown area, located at 15555 Main Street near 11th Ave. Known for its wide selection of coffee, energy drinks, teas, and seasonal blended beverages, the coffee giant's dual-lane drive-thru and walk-up window offers a new beverage option for Hesperia's coffee connoisseurs.

Rosa Maria's, a destination restaurant in Southern California, chose Hesperia for its first location in the Mojave River Valley. The restaurant is located at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Cypress Avenue.

Dairy Queen is now open in Hesperia after being gone for more than a decade. Their latest location is situated immediately adjacent to the new Rosa Maria’s.

Making its debut in Hesperia, Panera Bread is now OPEN and features a drive-thru at their new location in the Aldi shopping center at Bear Valley Road and Mojave Fish Hatchery Road.
