Responsibilities
The Finance Division is responsible for the City's and subsidiary districts' short and long-term fiscal functions. Some of these tasks include:
The development of financial management policies and plans;
The coordination and preparation of the Annual Budget and Capital Improvement Plan;
The Monitoring of all City revenue and expenditures with periodic reporting to the
City Council
;
The performance of all City debt management functions;
The provision of financial and program analysis for various Citywide projects and initiatives, as well as employee salary and benefit negotiations.
