Volunteers on Horseback
Organizationally, the Hesperia Police Department’s Equestrian Patrol (EOP) is a subdivision of the Citizens On Patrol Unit. In addition to participating in COP unit duties, these volunteers provide observational patrol and support services in the open, more rural areas of the City.
On horseback, they participate in many of the City’s events such as the Hesperia Days Parade. They also perform traffic control and informational services to community members at community events throughout the City.
