• Additions or alterations to existing mechanical, plumbing, or electrical (including installation of new HVAC units, upgrading or relocating electrical service, etc.)
• Decks over 30" above surrounding grade
• Decks with roof covers, all sizes
• Demolition of buildings (interior and exterior)
• Block walls over 3' high above grade
• Garage conversion / must also construct two-car garage if converting existing garage
• Garages or carports
• Gazebos
• Guest house (499 square feet only if under one acre of land, no kitchen, no permanent living)
• Mobile home set down
• Patio covers
• Patio enclosures
• Re-roofing, over 25%
• Room additions
• Septic tank replacement
• Sewer hook up (must include removal / demolition of septic system)
• Foundation with floor slabs (on-site flat concrete work, such as sidewalks or driveways, does not require permits)
• Storage sheds (over 120 square feet)
• Swimming pools or spas (18" deep or deeper)
• Metal storage containers (conditions apply, must meet planning regulations

An easement involves the right to use a parcel of land to benefit an adjacent parcel of land, such as to provide vehicular or pedestrian access to a road or sidewalk.
